Class on Drug Abuse

On Shrawan 26, 2076 we were given a counselling class on drug and alcohol abuse. It was not our very first class by the police team, second one to be more specific. They had inspired us on the last class of cyber crime. This time it was a very general and related-to-us kind of topic. They briefly talked about the various concerns that comes along drug abuse through a attractive visual presentation.

We, class 10 students got a very informative class on drug abuse. The counselling team cleared the actual sense of drug, its abuse, its causes, effects and prevention. The visyal presentation of the information that they specialized for us was very beneficial in keeping us engaged in the learning process. More than that, they also shared their involvement in such basic abuse of drugs that was forced on him. Personally, I take that as a great way of awaring us regarding how we get into such drug traps. We were shown the photos of people who got numerous complexities due to abuse of drugs and alcohol, which adds some great sense in us to stay away from drugs. The presentation also had videos signifying real events of drug addicts and the effects they had to face. We were clearly awared about how the chances of getting into such activities gradually increases when we neglect family and society morals.

After the class, I got to know that the ones who get into drugs cannot solely blame their family or peers. As we are to take the responsibility after all, we should be careful and guide our way towards a better path and ignore activities of drug and alcohol abuse.
