Dashain,  A Festival to live

Dashain, a pleasing word that brings peace and happiness in

 everyone's life. Honestly, it is the most anticipated festival of Nepalese society. The excitement of Dashain strikes to everyone's soul, so to me.

After the mid-term examination, we got a month-holiday on the occasion of Dashain. Personally. it is the most awaited vacation of the entire year. And obviously the wait never goes to vain. The festival comes with bliss and excitement. The ten-days-long festival brings the inseparable souls together.

Every single thing of Dashain excites me. And when the food, blessings, flowers, love and togetherness unifies, a different world comes to a fictional existence. Everything about my Dashain experience might sound dramatic but honestly the bliss provided by this unique festival is undeniable. The sleepless nights with my sisters, the late-night talks, late night movies, gossips, bodies filled with the packaged food, waking up late, couch-potato moments, all will be forever remembered.

Spending all with wit, unnecessary talks, hours spent on k/j drama series and k pop stuff, feeling the soft breeze under the same sky, seeing kites on the space, flowers blooming, travelling, reunification, shopping sums up my Dashain.
